Become a League of American Bicyclists
Certified Cycling Instructor

The League’s Smart Cycling program, and more than 2,000 League Cycling Instructors around the country, is a great resource in delivering high quality education programs. It is also vital to make motorists and cyclists aware of their rights and responsibilities on the road through public education campaigns that promote the Share the Road message.

The mission of League of American Bicyclists’ education program is to help people feel more secure about get- ting on their bikes, to create a mindset that bikes are treated as a vehicle, and to ensure that cyclists know how to ride a bike and how to operate it safely and legally.

We encourage all who lead rides within a club, school, store or organization to become a League Certified Instructor. Beside the great knowledge the seminar provides, as a member of the League an LCI may get event insurance at affordable rates .
