The JEFF ROTH CYCLING FOUNDATION promotes cycling, through advocacy and education, as a safe and healthy form of recreation and transportation. We are increasing awareness of the Jeff Roth/Brian Brown Protection Act of 2007 and promoting a harmonious relationship between motorists and cyclists, as the number of commuting cyclists are ever increasing in our state of Tennessee and our country.

TDOT is in the process of updating the Statewide Active Transportation Plan (SATP) to further TDOT’s mission to serve the public by providing the best multimodal transportation system in the nation. Over the last several years, TDOT has made great progress to provide infrastructure for people walking, bicycling and using public transportation (such as through the creation of the TDOT Multimodal Access Grant, adoption of the 2015 Multimodal Accommodation Policy and the most recent developments of our   Multimodal Project Scoping Manual   and  Multimodal Design Guidelines ).  Their consultant, KCI Technologies, is assisting them with the SATP update.

To complete the Statewide Active Transportation Plan, TDOT is examining the priorities, needs and challenges Tennesseans have with walking, bicycling and accessibility. TDOT staff are asking you to take a 20-question survey to provide your valuable perspectives and insights.

Please view and complete the survey by clicking on this link:
Please complete this survey by Thursday, May 21st.

TDOT thanks you for your time, expertise and perspectives.
